Pioneer Japan has announced the KURO KRP-600M its 9th generation Plasma panel. Supporting full HD resolution (1,920×1,080) the 60 incher sports 2 x HDMI ports, Ethernet port, 1 x composite along with the usual ports. Using the Web Control panel you can toggle the power, change the input source, etc from the browser of a network connected PC. The KURO KRP-600M goes on sale in Japan later this month for 850,000 Yen ($ 8500). Pioneer is working on a 50 inch version which is scheduled to hit stores by end of 2008.
