Plextor have ventured into the NAS server league with their dual-band NAS server called the PX-NAS2. It can hold two SATA hard drives with a total storage space of up to 4 TB. Since the server is DLNA compliant it can help you upload photos as well as videos and also connect to sites like Flickr and YouTube. Macs and PCs compliance is bliss. Besides these, it also provides support for Apple Time Machine and self download using BitTorrent.

It comes with only 2 USB 2.0 ports and there’s word that it may support RAID configs. It will be available this month for $225 minus the storage. If you pick a 1TB ($355) and the 2TB ($565) versions, then you’re pretty sure to pay more.
