Point Grey has impressed us with a new video camera that is all set to exploit the new USB 3.0. When you look at it you will think it is nothing but another webcam, but as they say, looks can be deceiving. This camera is actually capable of pumping full 1080p video at an incredible 60 frames per second. The camera uses 3MP Sony CMOS sensor to capture the 1920 x 1080 video images. The only thing is that we will have to wait for the IDF 2009 to know about the price on the card as well as the camera. The first controllers will be likely on ASUS motherboards and Fujitsu laptops but production dates still remain to be confirmed. Don’t worry; we will be updating everyone as soon as we get the updates. There will be no delay in that!
