It’s been five years… five long years since we’ve seen a Porsche 911 S model. The 911 series has been one of my favorites for along time so naturally I’m totally psyched to see the latest 2011 911 Turbo S. It’s gorgeous, of course, and designed to dish out more power and better handling. I’m stoked! This baby packs 530 horsepower, 516 pound-feet of torque with their seven-speed PDK dual clutch gearbox (that’s three more than I have in my car) and a torque vectoring system for stability. With a top speed of 196 mph, the 911 Turbo S clocks in 3.3 second in the 0-62 miles per house section. Porsche has got both models, the convertible and hard top and although they haven’t hit the lots yet, they’re headed for the Geneva Motor Show in May.
The coupe will cost €173,241 (that includes 19 percent VAT). The Cabriolet goes €184,546 (also including the 19 percent VAT) U.S. market models should follow soon after.
