FM transmitters for iPod for playing your favourite tracks in the car are nothing new but how about watching the videos from the latest iPod video which you just got. Princeton Japan has announced the PCK-UAV which works just like the FM transmitter but instead of songs transmits videos to be picked up by your car’s TV. Yes TV screens in cars are a common sight in Japan. It does not connect using the iPod dock but uses the RCA cable so you can also transmit video from your DVD player. The PCK-UAV uses the UHF band for transmitting video, I doubt it will be of any use to us as we dont have TV’s in our cars and TV antennas are history since quite some time.

The Princeton PCK-UAVW looks more like a mini Wi-Fi router and measures 80×55×24mm. It is available in Japan for 9980 Yen ($ 85).
