Designed by a team at Cranfield University in Bedfordshire this boy toy or rather the biggest boy toy to be made so far can climb a 407mm vertical wall, go down a 40 per cent side slope and operate in up to 610mm of water. You can use it to drive over obstacles, cross rivers and do all the things you wouldn’t want to do while in the car yourself. Thanks ot the efforts of Dr. James Brighton who has transformed the Hummer H3 into a remote controlled vehicle. Using the real thing a right hand drive Hummer instead of a downscaled version, this “ultimate boy’s toy”, took about a month to be transformed. As Dr. James says “The results are clear – all controllers will be amazed by the handling ability – the best any radio controlled vehicle has had to date.
Costing a whooping $70,000 this toy hummer surely deserves to be owned by all who can afford it.
