Samsung’s gone bling-bling with a special edition Galaxy SIII Mini called the ‘Crystal Edition’. Directed at the fairer sex, the Crystal Edition Galaxy SIII Mini will be heading to Germany first. In terms of specifications the device remains unchanged. This variant will feature 166 Swarovski crystals that are embedded into the battery cover; the rest of the form remains the same. The SIII Mini that was launched a little after the SIII made its debut, was designed to offer as much flexibility without compromising too much on features as its bigger brother, only in a smaller package.


It’s equipped with a 4.0 Super AMOLED display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It features a dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A9 processor to run Android Jelly Bean, and a 5 megapixel camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi with all the trimmings (DLNA, Dual Band, Direct, Hot Spot), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS and A-GPS Support. The Crystal Edition version of the SIII Mini will be priced at approximately $403 (€299) when it hit’s Germany.
