Samsung Epic 4G Touch unveiled by Sprint


Sprint has announced the much awaited Epic 4G Touch which is its version of the Galaxy S2. The phone is a bit thicker and bigger than its AT&T counterpart as this one packs a 4.52 inch Super AMOLED plus touchscreen and the latter comes with 4.3 incher. It runs on Samsung’s Exynos dual-core processor and Gingerbread. There are dual cameras – a 8 megapixel autofocus on the back with flash and HD video recording, a 2 Megapixel camera on the front is for video chatting and self portraits. The Epic 4G Touch will go on sale from September 16 for $200.

Beginning today, customers can pre-order Epic 4G Touch at any participating Sprint store with the purchase of a $50 Sprint gift card. Customers who pre-order Epic 4G Touch will have their name added to the Device Wait List and be contacted to set up an appointment to complete their smartphone purchase beginning Sept. 16. Through the pre-order process, customers will know they are able to get the device they want and receive the full retail experience, including Sprint’s Ready Now service.
