Samsung are all set to release the first cellphone with a pico-projector in-built. For those of you who have been out of the loop, this is called the Galaxy Beam (yeah, I know, very celestial name). We heard about it sometime back and it feels good to come back to this one since it is one of the few phones that actually give us something ‘different’ to look forward to. The pico-projector that’s present in this one is built by Texas Instruments and can create projections ranging from 5 – 50 inches in size. This Android 2.1 phone also packs a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED, 8 MP camera, FM, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and 16 GB storage.

It will start its amazing journey into the eager palms of Singaporean fans on July 17th. I wonder when we’ll get a first touch of it.
