The Samsung Galaxy S that we have been brooding about for so long is finally more likely to make it to the more tangible list of releases. T-Mobile have confirmed the phone to be the Samsung ‘Vibrant’. Back in Europe the Vibrant comes in as the Galaxy S that has a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, a powerful 1 GHz CPU, 5MP camera with HD video capture, around 8GB of internal memory and Android 2.1 with TouchWiz UI 3.0. An update on Unwiredview.com stated that ‘the Vibrant benefits from enhanced speeds with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, but it’s not an HSPA+ device’.

There’s no accurate word on the pricing but guesses made indicate a $199 contractual selling price for the Samsung Vibrant. Expect more news in a couple of days.
