Samsung and Apple have been at war right since the two companies decided to launch their renditions of what they thought would make the perfect smartphone. After a bunch of lawsuits being filed against each other, both claiming that the other stole designs and innovations, the two companies are still at war. Now, to make one of the many complaints filed by Apple near-silly, Samsung has released an update for its Galaxy S II that will increase icon size, giving the phone a 3×3 grid. This will give the phone a whole new look, very different from Apple’s user interface. The update will increase icon size by 30%, though we aren’t sure just how well Galaxy S II users will take this, given that the phone’s UI might just end up looking all too large and un-sophisticated.
