The Samsung SCH-i760 has finally got FCC approval. It comes with Windows Mobile 6 (wow! That’s new, isn’t it?) Operating system and provides support for applications like Word, Excel and PowerPoint (just like every other WM6 supported phone). It also has a QWERTY keyboard that shared the same thick black like the rest of the phones body. Other specs include the 1.3 megapixel camera and a camcorder. In addition to this, it also has a MP3 player and you can conveniently toggle between portrait and landscape views. Support for Wi-Fi is an added advantage to the sales of the phone. The buttons on the outer panel are pretty classical in a sense and give the phone a very professional touch.
Now that FCC liked this one and considered it worthy to be put up for sale then we should be expecting release dates and prices soon enough.

Verizon’s sales people told me on 9/14/07 that the SCH i760 and the XV6800 will both be out in November 2007. My local store has a non working SCH i760 to check out size and feel. 😉
