Sandisk have fished out their video player the Sansa View, their first move in this segment. It looks quite neat with a flashy 4inch display screen and a sleek white rimmed black body. It is packed with 8GB of memory, enough to hold a decent number of videos and other supporting media. If this memory get s consumed and you feel the need for more, no worries, the player comes with a SD card slot. We have built-in speakers in this one for playback. It makes use of Windows Media Player to synchronize with media services from Yahoo! Rhapsody etc. Sandisk are cooking a lot of hot chocolate recently, first we saw the Sansa Wi-Fi connect player, then the Express Ultra portable player and now we have the Video Player. Is this because they want to overcome the ghosts of the past ratings that saw them as the No. 3 MP3 player manufacturers? What gives, as long as we keep getting fed with masterpieces like this?
The Sandisk Video Player should be available in two months time for $300.
