Breaking past the 1TB areal density barrier, Seagate will now bring to the world its first 3TB hard disk drive. Today, an average computer user downloads and stores a ton of digital information and is forever looking to expand memory. Now, space crunches will be much less of a problem than it was before, all thanks to this elephant-memory holding 3.5” HDD for desktop PCs by Seagate. The new HDD uses three platters inside and will soon begin shipping. For now, Seagate hasn’t mentioned a shipping-date. The price also remains unannounced.
No longer will you need to think twice before downloading that huge file off the internet! Not when you’ve got 3TB of digital memory to your disposal!
