Sharp, Japan, unveiled a new 24” LCD TV “Sumahoraifu AQUOS LC-24MX1” which will be available by 24th May. The speciality of the TV screen is that it is heavily integrated with smartphone connectivity; the content stored in the phone can easily be transferred wirelessly and enjoyed on the TV. The resolution of the screen is 1,366 × 768 and is equipped with a VA panel. It houses a 2.1Ch speaker system jointly developed with pioneer and has Bluetooth support; music from the smartphone can be seamlessly transferred and played through the TV speakers.
In addition to it, the LCD TV can also be connected with a smartphone using “Miracast”, Cellphones with Miracast support can directly output video on the TV. All the majority of the functions like Web browsing, E-Book reading, browsing Emails, and checking Twitter and Facebook can be done using this feature. It also has a split-screen feature that allows the user to watch TV programme while browsing through the phone. Sharp will launch LCD screens in three different colours – orange, green and silver. And it is priced at 70,000 Yen ($700).
