Sharp Japan has announced two new models to its Aquos range of LCD TV’s. The new models LC-32GS10 and LC-32GS20 are 32 inches wide and have common features except that LC-32GS10 has speakers at the base and LC-32GS20 has speakers on the side. Supporting full HD resolution 1,920×1,080 dot they sport the world’s highest contrast ratio of 2000:1. Other specs include brightness of 450cd/m2, response speed of 6ms and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Simultaneous viewing and recording of different channels is possible thanks to dual TV tuners (Digital / Analog). Also included is 1080p HDMI inputs via which compatible digital recorders and audio systems can be controlled via the TV itself. The inbuilt 1 bit digital amplifier delivers an output of 10W×2ch.

The Sharp LC-32GS10 and LC-32GS20 will go on sale in Japan by 22nd December for 280,000 Yen ($ 2400).
