Here is a phone which we wish would come to the West. The Sharp Aquos IS03 is a 8.9mm thick phone loaded to the teeth running on Gingerbread ver 2.3.5. The phone targeted at women in the age group of 20 – 30, comes with a 4.2 inch ASV (Advanced super view) LCD supporting a resolution of 960 × 540 pixels, whats interesting is that it has a memory of 56 × 304 pixels, so pre-selected information like the time, number of messages etc can be displayed without powering the entire display on. The phone comes preloaded with proprietary power saving features account for nearly 25% battery savings. Features include – Bluetooth 3.0, 8 megapixel camera, MicroSD card slot, 1.4 Ghz Snapdragon processor, Earthquake warning, DLNA, Mobile wallet, One Seg mobile TV tuner and more enclosed in a waterproof case.

The Sharp Aquos IS03 measures 65 × 132 × 8.9mm and weighs 131 grams. It will be available by mid-November in Japan.
