Sharp has already grabbed our attention with their 3D screens that were designed for the Nintendo 3DS and their 3D camera modules for mobile phones. Needless to say we’re already quite impressed but obviously it doesn’t end there. The latest buzz is that Sharp intends to take their 3D, no-need-for-annoying-glasses technology that they used in the 3DS to the mobile phone. We can expect to see a smartphone soon with this autostereoscopic screen and 3D camera by the beginning of next year. This one will be directed at the international market. While we’re quite excited, it’s still a long way off and who knows who will beat them to the punch.
