Sharp has upped the ante with the Mebius PC-NJ70A which has a LCD trackpad supporting a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, so suddenly Macbook’s glass trackpad is not cool anymore isnt it? The LCD has its own light sensor which adjusts the brightness as per the ambient lighting. The trackpad doubles as a secondary display for applications like calculator, media player, games etc. Coming to the laptops specs which are unimpressive it packs in a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive, Multicard reader, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Sharp is tight lipped about the pricing but rumors suggest the Mebius PC-NJ70A at around 80,000 Yen ($ 820).
