This is one device that is going to make all gun-wielding persons think twice before they fire the next shot. “ShotSpotter” is a device that is a gunshot sound detector that can pinpoint the exact location of a fired shot. The good thing about this device is that it actually works. Minutes after they installed it, the Minneapolis police have been able to detect and locate a person who fired a gun. Though this one incident should not get everyone excited, cause you never know when a car backfires and causes the same commotion. Many other towns have installed the ShotSpotter, and many more towns in Minnesota are considering installing it.
