It is official now! The Skype application for the iPhone is now available in the US. It seems to be working fine with only minor hiccups and we are also not sure if it’s a glitch. From what we have heard earlier, we seem to be able to dial out while on 3G and not over WiFi. We also have reports that the application is crashing for jailbroken iPhones and possibly non-jailbroken iPhones as well. It also looks like dialing over 3G is only working for those with OS 3.0 Beta. Things seem to be going smoothly for those running the latest non-beta firmware but the calls only work over WiFi.
