This isn’t a phone, it’s a PDA. Make of this statement what you can, but well, I have to say that its one hell of a technological satisfier. The SoMo 650 from Socket Mobile is driven by a 624 MHz Intel processor and has 128MB SDRAM to and 256 MB flash memory to start off with. There also comes in it, connectivity via Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11b/g WiFi. It supports VoIP, thus allowing voice communications over the internet. Other advantages of owning this one are Compact Flash and SDIO slots (inbuilt). With the ever tangible Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, this one gains an edge over similar techs from the past. It also boasts the existence of a high-capacity lithium-ion battery that can go on and on.

The Socket Mobile SoMo 650 will be available for $678 across Europe, Asia Pacific and the US and is scheduled for the second quarter of 2007, starting with limited production in April and mass production in May.
