The bright red color of the laptops is achieved by using variety of special techniques. Multiple paint layers are individually applied and hand-polished to bring out the lustrous color. It’s topped by a durable protective UV coating which creates an extra vibrant sheen and gloss. Special light weight materials like carbon fiber and aluminum is used to add durability and lightness.


The attractive exterior of the Red Edition is accompanied with some serious performance. It’ll be powered by an Intel fourth-generation (“Haswell”) Core i7 processor and have full HD displays with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. The Fit is equipped with a massive 12GB of RAM and the Duo and Pro will come with 8GB of RAM. All the Vaio Red Edition laptops will feature backlit keyboards and NFC support.
