A ‘reliable’ source was caught quoting a Taiwanese report stating the Sony Ericsson is planning to come out with a ‘smartbook’. To me it seems like something that will extend the functionalities of the XPERIA series.

Sony’s Vaio has been accepted as a computing standard for now by many techies. Let’s watch out for a prospective face-off between both cellphone giants as the lock horns in the notebook field.
