iPhone apps seem to bring in a new wave of revolution which looks similar to what machines have done for mankind till date. Right from unlocking your car to controlling a hexapod robot, developers seem to be on chase to make your iPhone a one-stop solution for everything. Sony couldn’t restrain itself either and thought of launching its first PlayStation App for iOS Android Platforms. For now, this app wouldn’t convert your phone into a Playstation device.

The app works for like an update accessory giving you dope on all the latest games, news and hardware for your PlayStation 3, PSP and PlayStation 2. It will also enable one to keep a tab on their friend’s games and online status, PlayStation Network Trophies and announcement on European PlayStation.Blog. One can even connect to social networking mediums like Facebook or Twitter to share their favorite bit of news or products with their friends.
The PlayStation App will be compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices with 1.6 or higher versions. It will be free for download no definite word on as to when it would actually be available. The first version will be initially available in UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands.
