Sony Japan has announced an addition to the Vaio T series, the new model comes with a Digital TV tuner with support for video recording. With a 80GB hard drive you can record upto 222 hours of programming. It is powered by an Intel Core Solo U1400, U1300 or Celeron CPU at 1.06 Ghz and comes with upto 1.5GB of RAM. Features include hard drive shock protection, Fingerprint sensor, Wireless LAN (a/b/g), Bluetooth, USB 2.0 x 2, Firewire, Ethernet and SD / MMC / Memory stick reader. The Vaio T comes with a 11.1 inch TFT (1,366×768)battery life is around 7 to 10 hours depending on processor and RAM with upto 4 hours of TV viewing.

The Vaio T measures 272×195×21 and weighs 1.27 kg. It will be available in Japan from June 24 with prices starting at 159,800 Yen ($ 1400)
