Targeting elementary kids Sony Japan has announced the ZS-E5 a CD player with AM / FM radio. To be made available in two colors pink and blue the portable CD player has easy to use controls and comes with a LED displaying track information. With the Japanese government giving importance to foreign language in elementary schools, Sony will be proposing to make the ZS-E5 as a school teaching aid. The 2.2 kg unit goes on sale in Japan next month for 7,000 Yen ($ 80). Kids in Japan carrying bulky CD players to school in this age of tiny MP3 players and PMP’s is something hard to imagine.
