iPod docks come in all shapes and sizes, some with a few extra bells and whistles to clear off the store shelves. Sporting goods maker Spalding, has come out with the iHoop which is basically a basket ball hoop with a built-in sound system and is the only one its kind. All users have to do is plug their iPod or MP3 players into the jack, push play and start shooting away. No more running out of batteries on portable players or fussing with armbands.

The iHoop is compatible with most iPod models & MP3 Players and features an iHoop 30” watt 2.1 audio system with an included 5″ Subwoofer built right into the base for you rock your favorite songs while you play. The whole stereo system is made with marine grade speakers that are weather resistant and features a player suspension cradle to protect your iPod. No word yet on price or availability as of yet.
