Star Wars Jawa garden gnome keeps robot flower thieves at bay

While it may seem like having a regular old garden gnome could be a cute little addition to the home landscape, the idea of a garden gnome itself is quite mundane. If you’ve seen one you’ve seen ‘em all, they’re all quite alike. It’s like having one of the seven dwarfs watching over your garden, which is great if you’re a Walt Disney fan. But now, to make things a little more interesting for the gardens of the sci-fi fasn, you can have your very own Garden Jawa, the little hooded scavenger creatures from Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker’s home planet of Tatooine. They’re quite detailed complete with garden hose, gardening gloves and a friendly thumbs-up sign.

The Garden Jawa is available on pre-order via the online store – StarWarsShop.com for a price of $34.99. The Jawas will hit the store by December 9th 2009. Just don’t let it near your Robo Sapien lest it be hijacked and sold to the highest bidder or in this case short circuited due to a water borne attack.
Who needs gnomes guarding their flower beds and gardens when you can have those hard working little scavengers from Tatooine protecting your daffodils? Available from the StarWarsShop.com starting December 9th, this fully painted Garden Jawa is crafted in solid resin and stands almost a foot tall. And instead of holding a restraining bolt to tame a wayward droid, it’s got a garden hose in hand and appears to sport a pair of stylish gardening gloves. $34.99 available for pre-order now.
