If there were a competition for the silliest iPad dock design, I think this iPad bed might just beat even the iPad pole, or iPad suit. Hollandia’s iPad bed sounds like a practical joke on the one hand, but looks like a sexy, swanky, utterly serious iPad-dock bed design, on the other. The iCon iPad bed has an adjustable mattress, a custom headboard with an inbuilt iPad dock and a sound system that will do little to help you sleep as it blasts your eardrums through a 250 watt amplifier and four speakers. Surely it is easy enough to just rest your iPad on your regular bed mattress or quilt, without needing Hollandia to design a special bed for it? If you are interested in purchasing an iCon, make sure you invest in an iPad before the bed, or having bought the dock bed, you may not be able to afford the iPad to dock in it.
