As always with any Nintendo game console, the first Super Mario game is one of the defining experiences on the system. Wii getting its first Mario game has been offically announced by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.
Rumors point to this game being the much-talked-about Mario 128 (originally from GameCube), although no official details about how exactly Mario plans to jump onto GameCube have been made available.
