If your TV has lost weight and gotten slimmer then it’s only right that your monitor should follow suite. With that in mind LG has just unveiled its 7.2mm thin E90 monitor. The E90 is being the company’s slimmest LED monitor so far. It features a 2ms response time and also comes with LG’s Image Booster software. Not only does that mean watching fast paced action movies would be better but bundled software is designed to enhance streaming content from sites like YouTube. It’s also a Green enabled device which means it’s constructed to consume 40% less energy as compared to other LED monitors and even the use of halogen and mercury (hazardous materials) has been reduced in manufacturing of the monitor. To make things even more convenient for users, LG has devised what they’re calling EZ-cabling, where the power supply and socket connectors are embedded into the back of the stand. There’s no price announced just yet for the LG E90 but if you’re interested you could check it out next month at CES 2011, but word is that sales would commence sometime this month though.
