Call it a match made in heaven or a profit making business merger but the collaboration of TAG Heuer and Lamborghini is sure to be a winner. The two famous brands have teamed up to create the limited edition MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone. Dressed in black titanium carbide coated 316L stainless steel, the design of the MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone reflects the sports car down to its famed signature on the battery cover (the same as on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640’s V12 engine block). The display of this luxurious phone is made from 60.5 carats of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Every phone is individually numbered and features Automobili Lamborghini’s trademark Taurus bull on the steel central button.

Features of the MERIDIIST phone include a concealed 2 megapixel camera and 2GB memory. Furthermore, each handset can be personalized by opting for the rubber, calfskin leather or genuine alligator decorative back cover. The MERIDIIST also features a dual-function TAG Heuer switch. By touching this switch a polite call rejection process is issued; it also illuminates the unique time display mounted at the top of the Meridiist, and switches the direction from which the time can be viewed or launches a 1/100th of a second chronograph. The luxurious phone offers seven hours talk time or 28 days standby power.
Paying tribute to the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded, just 1963 units of the MERIDIIST phone will be sold worldwide.
