The cute little tortoises are back and TakaraTomy has upgraded them for good. In case you did not know Walkiebits have been featured on Time magazine as the best inventions of 2005. Coming back to the upgrades now the tiny tortoises respond to music and can even turn. The shells are interchangeable and the Rhythmbits respond to voices too for eg it will blow a low whistle after you call it. Well all this functionality is not built into this little thing as it comes with a gramophone shaped remote control which analyzes the sound and transmits instructions to your little pet via infrared.
TakaraTomy Rhythmbits go on sale in Japan from October 2nd for 1575 Yen ($ 14).
