Green cars are now going greener and leading the way ahead is Nissan’s Leaf. The electric vehicle has received an upgrade and is now more efficient than ever! The 2013 Nissan Leaf will sport refined aerodynamics, better regenerative braking and an upgraded energy management. Sporting a new 6.6 kW onboard charger that reduces charging time by nearly half, the new Leaf can now be charged at a Quick Charge Port in 30 minutes!
The 2013 version will sport a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery and an 80kW AC synchronous motor. With a 107 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque rating, the new Leaf will boast a longer driving range. Also, Nissan will unveil a low-priced version, the Leaf S.
