The UMI X2 budget smartphone to arrive in India with a 5-inch 1080p display


The world’s becoming a costlier place to live in but the prices of gizmos are somehow dropping rapidly. Following the Micromax Canvas HD, the UMI X2 smartphone joins the affordable smartphone league. The Chinese company has offered a phone that is set to marvel us in specifications and prowess. Witha 5-inch 1080p display, this ‘phablet‘ will be arriving in India, the homeland of Micromax to raise direct competition. It will also offer dual-SIM boot support, a 1.2GHz MTK6589 quad-core processor, PowerVR SGX544 graphics, 32GB expandable internal storage, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, a 3-megapixel front facing camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform (with a 4.2 upgrade in prospect) and a 2,500 mAh battery.


The UMI X2 will come to india at Rs. 14,000 ($260). It is expected to arrive around the middle of March in India.
