Many of us have to burn the midnight oil to meet deadlines. As in most cases we carry our work home and have to work in soft lighting so as to not disturb others. But adding the spunk to your monotony in the darkness is the new Dark Metal Illuminated keyboard from Speed Link. The keyboard background lights up blue and the characters and keyboard symbols are accordingly colored. Everything else is as black as the night. Black Metal – Blue Illumination; deadly combo! Radiating sheer elegance with a combination of a slim case of brushed aluminum and notebook-style flat keys the keyboard compliments your style. Seven special keys allow direct access to Internet functions and the media player and volume can be controlled with eight special keys. The keyboard provides Wake, Sleep and Power functions too. To tone things down you can switch off the blue light with the press of a button.

The Illuminated Dark Metal Keyboard will be available from this month for about $100 (EUR 74.99).
