The iKIT is the smallest notebook in the world

IMOVIO have launched a smaller alternative to a notebook PC, named the iKIT, which looks like what a PDA looked like years ago. It has a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.8″ QVGA screen and connects to the Internet at 3G speeds via your cell phone or Wi-Fi. It even has a Webcam built in, as well as a range of applications, including Web browsing, e-mail and IM. The device can use the internet using a standard Wi-Fi connection, or it can use your cell phone’s mobile broadband connection via Bluetooth. The iKIT uses the Marvell PXA270 312MHz CPU and 64MB of RAM, it runs the Linux OS and has enough juice to keep it going for 3 hours before dying out.

The iKIT could set you back by $170, but carrying two devices is not the ideal solution for anywhere anytime internet access anymore. Above all the tiny 2.8″screen does not sound like the ideal medium to browse the web.
