Thomson Black Diamond PMP

thomsonblackdiamond.jpgThe Thomson EH308 Black Diamond sure lives up to its name as far as looks are concerned. The PMP is built with very sleek and shiny body to tempt all the cooler sections of society who prefer to be ‘bolder’ than others. The front portion of the PMP is all dressed to kill, with a light blue cross-like formation at its base whereas a 1.8” LCD occupies the upper portion. With a memory of 8 GB the player also provides with a Li-ion batter to make sure you can enjoy quality music for a total of 15 hours (the phone can also be recharged with the accompanying USB connection). This black beauty supports playback of extensions like MP3, WMA, WMV and many more. The ability to manage podcast and web audio formats is an icing on the cake. We can even cart carry and share images using it.

The $300 price tag is pretty much justified given all the conditions and requirements the Thomson Black Diamond fulfils. Does make a good detour for iPod regulars though, haven’t we had too much of white? Well, Thomson has labeled it as a mysterious gizmo (maybe because it’s hard to find on dark nights, but then, what’s the glowing blue cross for?).
