Toshiba may be a bit later than they would have anticipated, by launching the Smarbo robot to handle household cleanings. We’re already fans of the Roomba robot that manages to do the same without as much of a celebration. However, what the Smarbo does have is a pretty good CV to make a few of us wonder. It’s also true that there may be a possibility of the Smarbo being designed to better the efforts and wonders of the Roomba. The Smarbo packs two CPUs, 38 sensors, a cleaning speed of 100 sq. meters per 90 minutes.

The Toshiba Smarbo will be arriving by October 1st, 2011 for $1,175.
