Toshiba has introduced a foray into its Digital Products Division by bringing up TDP-FF1AU DLP (digital light processing) palm-sized multimedia projector. The projector has a feather-weight of one pound and sports to be Toshiba’s first battery powered portable projection solution. About the size of a paperback book, the projector is sure to rob your hearts away. It’s perfect for mobile presenters and can be used for small group presentations, movie nights, video games, as well as classroom and business presentations. The TDP-FF1AU can project an 11- to 68-inch diagonal image and ships along with a foldable 23-inch diagonal display screen, rechargeable battery, battery charger and carrying case. Other attractive figures in the spec department are 400 Lux of brightness with a native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
The size itself epitomizes the idea of convenience and not to mention the energy-efficient LED (light emitting diode) light source that can last for up to 10,000 hours of use, which the company says is much longer than a conventional projector lamp. Have no fear, because the LED light wont heat up your baby thereby eliminating powering up or cool down time, and increasing battery life. if that wasn’t enough, you’d be glad to know the projector’s ability to operate on low power consumption enables approximately two hours of battery life.
