The X30 is the latest addition to Toshiba’s Gigabeat series. The main difference is that the X30 is 20% smaller than the Gigabeat “F series”. The X30 measures only 99.3 x 59.3 x 14.5mm whereas the F20’s size was 106 x 63 x 16mm. It’s display on the other hand is bigger and better with 240 x 320 pixels displaying 2,60,000 colors. It can be used as a storage device and connects to the PC via USB 2.0. It plays MP3 / WMA / WAV and supports DRM. Battery supports continuous playback for 16 hours. The X30 weighs approximately 134 grams. It is available in three colors Red, White and Black. The X30 will go on sale from September 22 for 37,000 Yen ($ 330)
