Toyota has come up with an ideal way to light up your home in case of a power outage. The newly developed V2H (Vehicle to Home) power system enables a mutual energy sharing capability between your home and your electric car. The two-way supply enables you to charge your car using your home, and alternatively use your car’s battery to light up your home when required! Currently, the system is still in its development stages and will be tested in 10 homes later this year. Also, Toyota will make use of the best-selling Prius plug-in hybrid for the tests, which we think, could pretty much change the way we light up our homes when the grid fails to do so.
