Two new Ivy Bridge models added to Dell XPS series


The Dell XPS series has just inducted its two newest members. With the XPS 14 and XPS 15 coming in, we’re glad that the good are still rolling. Both devices sport solid exteriors, thanks to Gorilla Glass and machined aluminum casings. They are powerful on the inside too with Ivy Bridge processors flashed all over the place. They also add optional 3G or LTE connectivity. The XPS 14 packs a 2.6GHz Ivy Bridge i5-3317U/3GHz i7-3517U CPU, 14-inch WLED display, Intel HD 4000 graphics, Nvidia GeForce GT 630M, 1GB of GDDR5 RAM, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, mini Display Port, HDMI, Ethernet port, 3-in-1 card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a lot more. The XPS 15 shoots up the stakes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display an ‘Ivy Bridge i5-3210M 3.1GHz / i7-3612QM 4-core processor option, Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 1GB graphics processor, a pair of RAM slots available with a standard 6GB that can be scaled up to 16GB, three hard drive configurations are possible, a slot-load DVD-RW or Blu-Ray disk player, three USB 3.0 ports, a Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, a 10/100 Ethernet port, and 3-in-1 card reader, optional 3G and LTE connectivity packages Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless package.
