Designer Vicky Wie has come up with some cool looking USB link drives. These appear to be some kind of remake of her Memory Infinite USB Storage. Basically, these drives have a male connector at one end and a female connector at the other. Addition of each drive will increase the memory capacity you have and at the same time I will appear as if you have just on device connected. Thus, the more you connect to the link, the greater the memory you are offered. However, there’s bad news to follow. This concept of scaling up USB connectivity is not possible in todays USB scenario and will (hopefully) be made possible with the dawn of USB 3.0. Having compact and brilliantly colored (thanks to the designer being a woman) USB drives that scale up memory make the entire setup seem cool and colorful.

The USB Links are still simply conceptual. Hopefully USB3.0 shows up sooner than later.
