For the Vertu connoisseur, there’s good news, the uber high-end phone maker has announced that they intend to increase their overall product range in the Signature series class of devices. Their later iteration in the series is the stylish Signature Clous de Paris Black which will be equipped with new features and tech to make connecting to Vertu’s specialised network a little easier and more refined. It’s decked out in black stainless steel with a clous de paris design showcased on the metal casing. The texture on the new handset is akin to what you might find on some high end watches. Other features of the handset include a black leather battery cover, black sapphire crystal keys to compliment the sapphire crystal high-resolution LCD display that , by itself, take a bout two weeks to create. The final touch is smidgen of silver graphics to add an aristocratic look.
The keypad is patented technology by Vertu. It contains 4.75 carats of solid ruby bearings to ensure longevity. The Signature Clous de Paris Black is also equipped with dual sound ports to sound off the set of exclusive ringtones that have been composed by Academy Award-winning composer Dario Marianelli and performed by the London Symphony. Naturally the handset will also come with Concierge, Life, and .Me services to give consumers the true personal touch and exclusive services rendered by the company. No one expects a Vertu device to bear a simplistic price tag and for the average consumer, the price tag will probably take your breath away just as much as the handset. For the Signature Clous de Paris Black it bears the numbers – 14,780 (USD). For the affluent however, this is not a price that doesn’t come with it’s benefits and exclusivity.
