A luxury phone does not necessarily need to look good, or so thinks Nokia-owned luxury mobile-phone manufacturer, Vertu. The company recently released the Ti, a handmade phone that costs a whopping $10,000. Sporting a titanium case, a sapphire crystal display, and great build quality, this phone is build for those who like expensive stuff, without really paying heed to the device’s performance. For the heady price, Vertu offers a 3.7-inch WVGA screen, dual-core SnapDragon S4 processor and Android 4.0.
Somewhat out-dated, extremely expensive and not really a great looker, the Vertu Ti is extravagant yet blundering. We hope to see a shift in Vertu’s designs in the future.
