ViewSonic V430 disappoints with Froyo

We’re so used to seeing Gingerbread-running smartphones roll out continuously that the ViewSonic V430 doesn’t really add up as a key competitor, even in the budget Android market now. It’s an Android Froyo-running smartphone with a 4.3-inch WVGA screen with multi-touch support, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a VGA camera for video chats in front and a 5-megapixel camera at the rear. So far this tablet is expected in Russia only. More release notes may follow soon.04.jpg

The V430 will make use of ViewSonic’s proprietary ViewScene 3D interface. Now that’s one thing some may be curious about, but did you really look at the rest of the specifications? Don’t impress much.
