It’s a long time coming and now we finally taste the sweet arrival of gaming like never before. Ultra HD 4K resolutions have been pleasing earnest eyes across the globe and now they’ve arrived on Microsoft’s all new Xbox One. This vital piece of information didn’t share the spotlight during the presentation, however, post the event, it was revealed with graceful pride. As testified by Forbes’ Matt Hickey, the all new release will support Ultra HD resolutions for games. This can give game developers enough dope to pump up their volumes with more detailed features. The effect of this declaration will also be seen in ever competitive platforms such as the PlayStation and the undying PC. In case of the latter, we can expect a good bump for graphic cards manufacturers.
When asked if the Xbox One would offer 4K gaming, Microsoft’s marketing head Yusuf Mehdi said, “The video and interface portions, absolutely.” This will also catapult the sales and success of Ultra HD TVs. Such is the power of a truly interesting announcement.
