If you can order a car to your doorstep, why not a phone? May be it isn’t something we couldn’t live about but this ambient idea by Xiaomi and Uber is kind of cool. It has come to life with the Xiaomi Mi Note and will lead to the creation of a new phone-ordering button in the usual Uber app. The idea is to ensure that users aren’t made to wait for their new phones to arrive. They turn up on their doorstep as promptly as a cab would. It goes without saying that this will not be implemented at every Uber location. This is a pre-launch delivery that has left many folks impressed with the idea of the execution and its ability to create a fantastic piggyback marketing strategy for all.


The partnership will see its endeavor executed strictly in Southeast Asia. We hope to see this model replicated everywhere, especially for the Mi Note fans who have been waiting with baited breath.
